I、Overview
The intelligent 485 PDU monitoring device is applicable to various electronic and electrical devices such as servers, switches, and cabinets. It can monitor the
power consumption information of these devices and environmental information (optional), and supports remote access.
Based on intelligent power management, the intelligent 485 PDU is equipped with multiple precision sensors to detect the current, voltage of each interface in real - time, as well as ambient temperature and humidity (optional). Through integrated circuits and embedded firmware, it can autonomously analyze the rationality of power consumption and issue over - limit alarms, and the results are displayed on the LCD screen.
This product can also achieve cascading functions through the RS485 interface, fully supporting the Modbus communication protocol. It can cascade up to 64
devices at most. At the same time, it can communicate with the host computer. Through the host computer software, it can manage all alarm reminders in real - time, and
also provide large - scale data analysis and comparison to achieve the goals of collective energy conservation and safe power consumption.
During product installation, we can easily complete wiring and function testing through the RS485 bus. We can also set the serial port baud rate, monitoring, etc.
through online or offline methods.

Parameter Setting
Long - press the Set key to enter the parameter setting interface, where parameters such as the RS485 address and baud rate of the PDU can be set. For example, the
steps for setting the address are as follows:
Long - press the Set key to enter the address setting interface
Use the Up and Down keys in combination to set the appropriate address, then short - press the Set key to confirm. Long - press the Set key to exit the setting.
VII、 Modbus Communication Protocol
The communication adopts the MODBUS RTU protocol. The data format of one frame is: 1 start bit + 8 data bits + 1 stop bit. The baud rate is 9600bit/S.
